Or I could ask, does the Intel DH67BL uATX - 4 DIMM - LGA1155 - RAID USB 3.0 - SATA600 have a slot for a M.2 SSD?

Ronald - Also, I just now ran a regscanner64 scan for Queencreek, and there are still a number of registry entries that mention it.  (I left them alone.)

Attached is an html copy of that scan report.

Some of the entries are just my searches for "queencreek", but some are genuine registry keys from the installation of Queencreek that should no longer be there.

When you get a chance, you might want to improve the UNinstall function for IDUU so that these keys get cleaned.

Also, IDUU definitely installs Queencreek, but without asking the user for permission.  This whole thing came as a surprise to me.  Don't you think that Intel should ask?

Thanks.  I'll let you know how things are going.

Ronald - So far, so good.

SUR is gone.  I am NOT getting the errors and warnings that I first posted above.

However, in two of my numerous reboots just now, I got this new Warning:

The COM+ Event System timed out attempting to fire the PostShell method on event class {D5978650-5B9F-11D1-8DD2-00AA004ABD5E} for publisher  and subscriber .  The subscriber failed to respond within 180 seconds. The display name of the subscription is "SENS Logon2 Subscription". The HRESULT was 80010002.

Of course, I am not sure there is a relationship, but I never saw this one before.

Old_Geek - yes, that file is still there.

Roland - here's the full copy of that new Warning:

Hi,

I would also find it useful having the code for this and other demos.

Thanks!

Hi there!

While we wait for Hector to see if he can get a hold of that package version, could you please confirm the PBA of your board. This might help to further investigate this issue.

David A.

I am also working to implement a 3d scanner using multiple cameras. I wonder if this can be done using the RealSense SDK. I looked at the example 3d scanning code, and it looks like mayb it is possible to modify it to aquire images from multiple cameras and then reconstruct all the images together.. But would it work? Or is there aother way of doing this?

Thank you for reply!

here's my answers:

1:marker are red circles pasted in hardboard, as showed in picture below:

marker and light condition.png

2: I tried different distance of the markers from the camera, from 230mm-560mm, the depth values seem perform the same, floatingl ike:

depth floating 1.png

which:

red for the raw depth data;

green for i use a algorithm to smooth them;

3: I can but I do not know how could i send you fileS.

4, 5:AS THE PICTURE SHOWS.

TIPS: I  YOU NEED I CAN SEND MY CODE TO YOU, THANK YOU FOR HELP!

glnz I did catch it saying it was uninstalling QUEENCREEK in the command prompt, and the SUR folder is empty. It also left the Intel Driver Utility folder behind along with a new semav6msr64.sys driver. So like you, I'll wait to see if I get another freeze up or not, and check for QUEENCREEK if I do. If all goes well for a month, I post here.

Side note: Thank you for being tenacious about this! If it wasn't for all your posts here I don't think Google would have lead me to this. Now let's hope this works...

Disable onboard graphics to save power?

I've got an i7-6700 running on an ASRock z170 board with an nvidia graphics card. When I run the intel power gadget 3 software, it says the CPU is using 12 watts and the IA is using 1.5 watts. I can only conclude that the integrated GPU is using around 10 watts even though I'm using the nvidia card exclusively. The intel GPU doesn't even show in the device manager.

I've poked around the UEFI and I don't see anything that will let me totally disable the integrated GPU, just an option to change the default graphics, which is currently set to PCIE.

Am I reading these power gadget logs correctly? Is there any way to disable the graphics part of the CPU?

Ya 240mm AIO should be plenty.

The good thing though (as much as corsair link can be a turd) is that corsair link should allow you to setup a fan profile that keeps your machine from ramping up so often.

Also since I am curious did your cooler come with the TIM already on it or did you have to apply it yourself? If you did it yourself what application methodology did you use?

Not trying to place blame on you, just curious if there is anything else I might be able to suggest to increase your thermal efficiency a little more.

I mean who am I kidding I tried tons of things when I first got my CPU and noticed the temps I was getting on custom water. I think I was pulling 72-75c on stress tests at stock settings. Now on those same tests I pull high 40's at stock. It is stupid how bad the TIM on these is >.<

I've got the H50 or H55,  I did apply the thermal paste myself, twice. Added a little more on the second try in case i didnt add enough on the first try, although it looked perfect when i removed the block of the cpu

I've tried changing every settings suggested in the BIOS to make the spiking go away, I even set the vcore so low that windows wasnt able to boot. Since I don't have a lot of experience with BIOS im not sure if i did it correctly. Still at the lowest vcore where i was able to boot i had the same symptoms and temperatures.

I checked HWMonitor just now, and after a day of only gaming my top temps are:

Core #0 70ºC

Core #1 70ºC

Core #2 68ºC

Core #3 64ºC

MAX VCORE: 1,264 V

Since its under a month since i bought the CPU, and the website i bought it from has a 45 day return policy im gonna ask them to send me a new one and hope i win the lottery. As long as it's an manufacturing defect i can by law request that the seller repair or replace the faulty chip.

And I'm sorry for "going after you" earlier TGrable, that wasn't fair of me.

No worries I didn't really feel attacked or anything.

I will say that the TDP of the H50/H55 is probably close to what you are pushing. So you won't have a lot of thermal overhead with that cooler.

Also did you try the X pattern application method with your paste? Seems to be the recommended method for paste on that particular setup.

Anyways not something that will make a huge difference, but could help in a small way.

Also 70C isn't a bad max temp tbh. Also if you are running stock settings I would say your Vcore is still pretty high. At stock I would think you could run that CPU at only 1.185 or even lower, but 1.185 would be a good starting point :-D.

Anyways if you do decide to give that setting a try make sure to report back on the results. Helps me narrow down settings that work for the majority.

@ferentes - What is the OS? What version of BT driver you have on your system currently?

Re: AC-7260 Bluetooth Will Not Wake Up PC

@rranger - Google for bth_faq and follow the steps for enabling remote wakeup described in the FAQ. Some OEMs turn the module (BT) power off when the laptop is in standby/sleep mode. In that case, the feature (wake on BT) will not work unfortunately.

Your Vcore is high for default clocks.

I could use 1.15 Vcore for default clocks and if iam not wrong I had even 1.125 but to be sure its working just try 1.15 and you will see a lot lower temps

Hi Yuqing, Thanks for your reply, normally, for retail X710, it would have yottamark sticker at the adapter's back side. Sharing the sample yottamark sticker found in this website - Yottamark* Sticker on Intel® Ethernet Adapters . Have you tried running this command to update your X710 FW?

./nvmupdate64e -u -l -o update.xml -b -c nvmupdate.cfg

Please also try out this command to show details of your X710

lspci -vv | grep -i 'Intel Corporation Ethernet Controller X710'

Vince
